It is with somewhat of a bittersweet epiphany that I admit to getting more useful information out of this concise pamphlet than I did from eight years of college and postgraduate studies to enhance my role as an educator.Like many others, I was skeptical that I would ever really get enough out of technology to truly make it a worthwhile endeavor for the children I teach. I am proud to report that I stand corrected, all because of this book. Literally within the first two weeks, I had already created an incredibly useful tool. Kids really relate to learning online. What better way to reach them?
I look forward to the author's next guides, whatever they may be.

This book offers a lot of ways to meaningfully incorporate technology into the classroom, with steps that are easy to follow. It's simple enough for a beginner to use, but has enough depth to be very useful even to very experienced technology users.
As an "experienced" teacher I had been hesitant about using the computer in my classroom. I had heard other teachers talking about wikis but to be honest, was never sure what they were. After using this book and following the step by step process, I have created a wiki for my classroom and my students love it. It was very easy to follow the instructions and I enjoyed the occasional hints like, "the best time to end a fun activity is when the students are still having fun".
